Default Jailbreak/Unlock of iPhone 3GS, need help badly!
    Hi all.

I recently bought a used iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.0 and have been trying to jailbreak/unlock it since but without luck.

    Info about the iPhone 3GS:
    OS: iOS 4.0 (8A293)
    Model: MC133KN
    Serial: 86931XXXXXX
    Baseband: 05.13.04
Bootrom: Supposedly the new bootrom as it's a MC-model.
    SHSH Blobs: Don't have any.

As it is atm. i can get into the phone and play around with the apps but i can't use it with my SIM-card becuase it's locked to another provider.

Now the big question is, is there anything at all i can do to either jailbreak or unlock it?
Any help would be appreciated greatly, thank you

You can't yet. No SHSH blobs, no downgrade, no jailbreak / unlock.
You have to wait until the next tool is released.

First, The MC rule is only for the iPod Touch and not for the iPhone.
However, as stated above, if you have no SHSH Blobs you have nothing to do currently, BUT, you may better check if there is a BLOBS for it, maybe the previous owner had it JailBroken and saved\Backed up the SHSH, in order to check out, use TinyUmbrella Go to Advanced, and choose 3.1.2 or 3.1.3 and then 'Save My SHSH' if it save any file for you then you're lucky, else, you'll have to wait for the next JB tool.

    Good luck,
Press Thanks! If Its Worth It!

Thanks for the response, just checked TinyUmbrella, and unfortunately there was no SHSH Blobs cached for my ECID, so it seems i gotta wait
