    Default downgraing iTunes 9.2 to 9.1
    can someone help me downgrade itunes..... i uninstalled the iTunes 9.2 and tryed to install the 9.1 but it said that the library could not be opened because it was made by a newer version of itunes..... someone please help me..... i am determined to downgrade my iphone 3g with windows back to 3.1.2.....

    re-install 9.2, in iTunes use shift+restore instead of just clicking restore, point iTunes at your 3.1.2 ipsw (i assume you have one, if not download one) and it will restore back to that, no need to go back to 9.1

    i have tried that many time but it says the firmware is not valid or something like that.....

    are you sure that you have a 3g ipsw and not a 3gs ipsw, i have went between 3.1.3 and 4.0 on my 3gs using itunes 9.2 several times and i have zero problems
