Default iPhone 3Gs Custom FW iOS4 help
Okay, I have 3.1.1 - 3.1.3 of SHSH saved, but when I use sn0wbreezes custom FW to restore it, I get a error code (2)
I'm on 3.1.2 and jailbroke it with blackra1n.

    How about DFU mode?

Recovery didn't work for me either. I was getting 1600 error. I just restored the phone with custom firmware without any mode and it worked fine for me.

DFU comes up with 1600 error, and I think it's too late to go back to regular without restoring 3.1.2 again..

Just bring the phone back up like normal. Then connect and shift-click restore and point to custom firmware. That is what I had to do.

Know how to get out of DFU mode?

Okay, here's what i'm about to do.
I'm about to restore back to 3.1.2, get the error code 1015, use iRecovery, then use black ra1n.
After those are done, I will shift + click restore to my custom firmware that sn0wbreeze 1.6.1 made for me to update to iOS4.
    Does that sound right?

That sounds good but if you are getting error almost instantly, put your normal working Iphone in Recovery mode then do a shift + restore to SnowBreeze ipsw. I did all of mine in Recovery mode and I am now on custom iOS 4.0 unlock with Ultrasn0w on BB 04.26.08 and it works perfect.

What do you mean by normal working?
