Thread: If i dont mind not being jailbroken on 4.0 untill pwned4life release should I update?

    You could...Make sure you either don't rely or need a jb app/mod. Its sometimes nice to try out a stock version of an os before you pwn it and truly make it yours.

    You need the new itunes and and have it search for updates.

    [email protected], you can't restore because Apple stop signing the firmware 3.1.3 in the wake of the release of iOS4. And you need to upgrade iTunes from 9.1 to 9.2 to install iOS4.

    Let us know if your upgrade from 3.1.3 Spirit to iOS4 worked out!

    I'm going around asking... anyone knows about "Iphonia software" from Geo, jailbreak 3gs 4.0 on windows... any info about it?

    Actually everything worked out pretty good. Updated without any problems.

    Interesting.. I'm on the same base as you.. Considering doing going to iOS4 just to check it out... I'm on 3G 3.1.3 with Itunes 9.1 as well..

    I updated itunes to 9.2, connected my phone to pc, let it check for new software version and clicked on 'download and install'. That was about it.

    It was finished in about 10-15 mins.
