    Default TRYING to get into recovery loop
    its a weird question but i know that if you take a iPhone that is in the recovery loop they replace it, usually no questions asked


    i am at 3.1.3 3GS

    how can i go into recovery loop?

    Hmm doesn't sound like the best way to get your phone replaced but you could maybe try to jailbreak with any older version of redsnow or something might work? Or unlocking it or downloading some apps in cydia that require the device to reboot will do it.

    They won't replace it that easy but if u do, easy way is to update to 4.0 then downgrade...when u downgrade and it stays in the connect to iTunes screen, take it like that...they will try to restore to 3.1.3 but it won't happen and keep getting the iTunes screen....they will then replace

    after i posted i did some research and i foudn that method

    i tried it and it worked!

    i got a new iPhone and everythign

    I was thinking about do this so that I could sell my iphone as brand new. Do they give you a new iphone with the box and everything, or is it just a refurbished phone by itself?

    Will this still work after the official 4.0 firmware is released?

    yes because they are still signing SHSH for both
