Default Ipod Jailbrocken with Spirit Cydia --> RockApp (store)
    hi com.

    i have a question:

My ipod is jailbrocken with the new spirit jailbreak. I had read that the RockApp (store) better is than the cydia store
Can I install RockApp(store) on my Ipod now? Or I have to do a new Jailbreak with blackra1n and downgrade the firmware

Another Question is: Whats better Cydia or Rock and whats your favourite Instant Messenger for IcQ

    Have a good night

    with best regards

    Hello there ich386,
You need an jailbroken iPod Touch or iPhone to install the RockApp. It doesn't matter what software you jailbreak your iPod Touch or iPhone with you just go into Cydia and search for RockApp and then install it. For the answer you your second question that is a debatable question.

If anything, Cydia is better than Rock.

Do not use RockApp with JBed devices. It's known to cause reboot loops as it deletes critical system files from /sbin. Consider this an active issue until the author responds that it has been fixed.

    Thanks dhamien,

I found out about this later in the day but forgot to updated my original post. Considering their statement I think its fairly safe to use with Spirit JB since they have addressed the issue.

I can't seem to find the RockApp on Cydia. I've search for it per Rock Your Phone direction, but no luck. Can someone rub my nose in it and tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Consider it God telling you not to install it.
