Default 3.1.3fw wth 05-12-01 BB and BL 5.8 and cant Fuzzyband... HELP! X(
    Hi everyone!
Ijust bought a iPhone 3g used on ebay and as it turns out the ****** that sold it to me had updated to 3.1.3 fm.

Now that I have spent 4 days almost non-stop trying to unlock the thing, I found out that I cant because of the baseband update.

But after doing a f0recast, I found out that I can downgrade it.

I installed Fuzzyband through Cydia Crawler and tried it, and it just quit on me during the Querying the modem... and then it goes to Springboard.

    What am I doing wrong???
How can I unlock this guy???

    Please help me

    Tim

    Cant anyone help???

From what I've read I don't think you can downgrade it with Fuzzyband. But that's just me. I don't know.

Try doing a fresh restore to 3.1.3, then jailbreak with redsn0w 0.9.2. Go into Cydia, let it do its full upgrade then let the phone reboot if it needs to. Then go into Cydia again, make sure you install 'Fuzzyband' and not 'Fuzzyband 3G Downgrader'.

If it doesn't work, you might need to google for the Fuzzyband 3.1.3-1 version .deb file and install that through iFile. I recently saw a guy who didn't have any luck getting the version on Cydia to work on his 3.1.3 firmware but did have luck with a downloaded 3.1.3-1

Did you try a fresh OS restore before attempting it again?
