Default 3GS 3.1.2 Week 28 model: Best way to JB/Unlock??
    Hi all,
I am in need of an untethered JB/Unlock on this 3GS I just got. Its week 28 on 3.1.2 and I just sold a week 29 3GS that was already unlocked when I bought it, but wasnt jailbroken??

I need both JB and Unlock but am seriously curious as to how it was unlocked w/o being jaibroken. Either way I just need an untethered/unlocked 3GS on 3.1.2 so any help would be really appreciated.

Good day my friend, you should use blackra1n and blacksn0w for the unlock, anyway, for further devices don't open a new thread and use f0recast iH8sn0w.com | Jailbreak your iPod touches and iPhones it says what you can do according to your device and firmware and what to use!

You should avoid the blacksn0w that comes with blackra1n. That's what's causing all the boot loop problems that people are experiencing.

Instead, get blacksn0w RC2. For that, in Cydia go to Manage > Sources > Edit > Add - then add the repo http://cydia.pushfix.info/ - then search for and install 'blacksn0w RC2 Final'.
