Thread: IPhone 3GS Frozen at Apple Logo

Default IPhone 3GS Frozen at Apple Logo
Made a stupid mistake, while unlocking my iPad with Sprint JB.

The Sprint JB recognized the iPhone 3GS (3.1.2) that was also connected to the computer, tried to unlock the iPhone instead of the iPad.

The iPhone was already unlocked with blackra1n.

Now the iPhone is stuck on the apple logo screen and will not start. I did start one time and got to the "plug into iTunes" screen, but by the time I got the my computer it was gone and now just keeps restarting and getting stuck at the logo screen.

Any ideas or tricks to get start?

Did you mean Spirit? Anyway, put the iPhone into DFU/Recovery mode (either one works fine) and restore the phone. That's the best you can do. You can try to jailbreak it and see if that kicks the phone out of its loop. You can do so with blackra1n.

    Yes I mean Spirit
How do I put the iPhone into DFU/Recovery mode?
All it does is go to the apple logo then it shuts down and starts

Also I see alot of people are having the same problem because of a Rock update, maybe that is how it happend,

I assumed it was Spirit becasue I had not heard of the Rock App issue's

Yeah the rock update bricked my phone I had to restore. Google "iPhone recovery mode guide" or "iPhone dfu mode guide" and there at illustrated guides to show you how. My phone wouldn't go into DFU so I did recovery mode.
