    Default After Spirit/ Itune sync?
After you have spirit do it's thing and cydia installed. I read that you don't want to update Itunes, but can you sync it? If not can you at least go to the app store on your phone and update items (the annoying number icon of apps that need to be updated keeps showing up)

You can update iTunes and you can sync. I just did it yesterday before I jailbroke a touch and a new 3gs.

iTunes works normally. I don't understand your question... jailbreaking has never restricted iTunes functionality in any way.

If you just want to update your PURCHASED apps, you can do that from the phone - no need to sync with iTunes, unless you want to.

...Unless the OP is asking (indirectly) about warez... tisk, tisk

nope, no warez. I was wondering about syncing the phone with itunes and if it would wipe out what is on the phone or in the itunes library.

Have seen threads about people who recently JB and they lost pics and also where they did a JB, sync'd with Itunes and then wanted to get rid of the JB so they tried a restore and it was thought it didn't let them restore because Itunes had the most recent sync with the JB phone and overwrote the old sync with 3.13.
