Default Cydia Iphone OS 4.0 Theme killed my IPhone
Ok. Got a pretty bad situation here.

    Beginning:

    - IPhone 3GS 32GB
    - Firmware 3.1.2
    - Baseband 5.11.07
    - Tethered JB with Blackra1n

I logged into Cydia and tryed to download from the modmyi repo the theme.
Once the usual bunch of command lines I got the reboot button on and I pressed it.

Now I'm stuck in the Recovery mode. That would be normal since the reboot (tethered) but I can't get out of it via Blackra1n.

    Anybody can help??

    tryed that already (several times)
I can get the command "printenv" to work to see if it effectively changed the value of autoboot, but anyway I did the other command with no results

What other stuff does that theme install that forces a reboot?! The only 2 programs I know that do this are Winterboard and SwirllyMMS.

you are supposed to type in these 3 commands

    setenv auto-boot true

    saveenv

    /exit

I believe that the OS4 Theme installs also Winterboard automatically

I already tryed those without results. I was trying to use printenv to verify the value. I'm not sure the command works.

I have my ECID but I can't use umbrella to verify the 3.1.2. Any suggestions?

nice...I tryed Blackra1n RC1 in an effort to recover this phone and now I'm stuck with a black screen....no way of getting out of it...If i connect the iphone to itunes it tells me it's in recovery mode.

Blackra1n RC1/RC3 are stuck in "waiting for device".

Any suggestions? The only option remaining is the restore to 3.1.3
