Default Updating to 3.1.3 without updating BB?
    Hi,

I have an iPhone 3G[S] that has crashed and is in restore mode. (It was in 3.1.2 with the old BB) However, I was told that I should update to custom 3.1.3 so I can still keep it unlocked. However, I still have the new Bootrom so is this still possible? If it is, how should I go about doing it?

    Thank you.

    Thank you.
You can't restore it with customer firmware because your phone has new bootrom.
Do you have the SHSH 3.1.2 saved on Cydia? If so, you can restore your phone with stocking Apple firmware 3.1.2, then jailbreak and unlock it again.
    good luck
