Default Any way to check if firmware is backed up on Cydia?
I jailbroke my iphone 3gs when I was running 3.1.2. After jailbreaking I clicked the link to back up my phone with Cydia. Couple days later I started having issues with the phone connecting to AT&T. Random crashes and wouldn't connect to towers. I tried checking Cydia repeatedly but it kept saying "This device has a pending TSS request".

Even after a couple weeks the status never changed. Finally the phone crashed and came back up saying I had to restore with iTunes, ultimately putting me in a stock 3.1.3 firmware now.

Is there any way, without going through the restore process and it failing, to see if my file actually processed on the server possibly after I had already had to upgrade to 3.1.3?

It depends on when you clicked the button not which firmware you were currently on. Apple stopped signing 3.1.2 around February 2nd/3rd so you would have had to press the button before then.
