Default What is 'old' for Old boot-rom?
Searching google, yahoo, basically most search engines and all of this site, i've come to the conclusion that nobody really has an idea when it comes to the answer of how old is Old Boot-Rom... I've read that only MB models are old boot rom, Below 40 weeks on the MC model is old boot rom, and even 45 weeks, but what is the real answer? No criticism, just answers please.

bump because i dont want to look like an idiot

if u are refering to a 3gs then the old bootroom (iBoot) is 359.3...the new iBoot is 359.3.2 use this to find out which you have if that is your reason for asking http://modmyi.com/forums/general/688...m-version.html

The old boot rom can go up to week 41 but there are some refurbs that have the old bootrom but still have a later week. That may be why the answer is mixed.

if you didn't save your shsh's for 3.1.2 on cydia then you are stuck on 3.1.3...if you did save them or you aren't sure if you saved them then you can use this guide to 1.) check if you did and 2.)downgrade if you find that you did http://modmyi.com/forums/3g-s-downgr...ecid-shsh.html
