Default Brand new 3gs on 3.1.3 backed up from jailbroken 3g
Just got a brand new White 16gb 3gs today and restored it from my old 3g which was jailbroken on 3.0. Should I have done this? The reason I ask is because now I have my custom carrier and battery percentage which I wasn't aware you could get unjailbroken? I'd like to keep it but don't want to void any warranty I have.

    Screen shot to follow...

your fine...it is something that is carried over from your backup

if it worries u then u can restore again and sync instead of using the backup...u won't have all ur old texts and what not but u will standard carrier icon...as far as battery percentage that is available unjailbroken on the 3gs I believe

Restoring from backup of a jailbreak device can carry over some leftover stuff. It is generally best to setup as new. You lose your text and settings as mentioned. If you notice a serious battery drain problem then restore and setup as new because backups from jailbreak devices for some reason have caused this before.
