    Default Deleting Cydia completely??
Hey. I jailbroke with blackra1n, OS 3.1.2 fw, PC windows vista. I have Rock and Cydia and I use Rock way more often, I never use Cydia. It seems to me they both have the same apps and Rock is slightly faster. I want to delete Cydia completely but when I try to delete Cydia through Rock it says:
"are you sure you want to continue, deleting may render phone useless etc."

so what is the safe way to get this thing off?

Just don't delete it. Hide it using sbsettings if u don't want it

So having it is not bogging my phone down unnecessarily? I want to be sure I'm running the most effectively maintained jailbroken iPhone. I want to delete all processes that aren't being used as well, but I don't know how to use sbsettings or memtool. And even if I download it correctly I won't know what is ok to delete.

if you want to keep your phone most effectively, you should not have installed rockapp. it replaces mobilesubstrate and stuff, I don't like what it does ...

plus it seems to have bugs, I couldn't find numerous packages there that were present in cydia.

Alright, so how can I remove rockapp so that my mobilesubstrate or whatever is restored?

I'm not sure if uninstalling rock from cydia will do the job
