    Default contacts in SSH
    anyone know where my contacts would be in SSH so i can just delete them all....selling the phone but guy still wants the JB

    /private/var/mobile/Library/AdressBook/

    but I'm not sure if the contacts still work if you just delete the files, just saying ...

    you could also try settings > general > reset > delete all contents and settings
    but it's known to cause a boot-loop often, so you might need to restore after that.

    Wouldn't the restore put everything back on the phone though?

    he wants to delete the contacts off of his OLD phone in order to sell it. since the new owner will probably not sync with gary86's PC, no, the contacts won't reappear

    In my experience, Deleting the AddressBook.db works. As well as SMS.db, Notes.db, etc. After a reboot the basic shell databases will be recreated. No harm, no foul

    thanks for all the help guys, I found the cydia contacts delete and took car of it. I sold the old one for 575 and bought the white 32gb. Thanks again
