    ok, need help with this one i got to jailbreak this phone but it has a password on it how do you delet the password without restoring back to fatory seeting so we dont lose all the good stuff i need to get buy the password

    If you are familiar with SSH and have OpenSSH installed on the phone from Cydia I can help, otherwise you'll have to restore.

    Try using diskaid / iphone explorer, its for PC/MAC if you dont have ssh installed because it uses usb cord :], once in the root folder go to Private/var/keychains/ then remove keychain-2db file, reboot and passcode will be removed..
    But phone put be jailbroken...

    This phone wouldn't by any chance be not yours would it -.-

    I feel like the only way is to restore... SSH and whatnot is just so complicated for something like this.

    It's not too hard, u just have to clik through 4 or 5 folders then delete a file. U can back up the file, too(copy/paste). - and "iphone3g210" , that's awesome, but it sounds like a security vulnerability apple should have fixed.

    Its not really a security vulnerability, because if the phone was not jailbroken you have no access to the root folder...
    When jailbroken the ramdisk is modified and you have access to the root folder and so on...
