Thread: Does iLibertyx work for 3.0.1 firmware?

    Default Does iLibertyx work for 3.0.1 firmware?
    I jailbreaked my iphone on 2.1.4 awhile back using iLibertyx. I restored it am using firmware 3.0.1 will ilibertyx still work with the new 3.0.1 firmware?

    Not exactly... but I see you are on OSX, you could also try Pnwage.

    It's still a "one click" program like iLiberty was. You should not have any problems.

    i actually couldnt beleive how easy it was to jailbreak with redsn0w. it was great and only took 10 mins.

    Yes, JB phones work exactly like stock phones...as far as iTunes is concerned.
    make sure you DO NOT update to 3.1 firmware...

    i think it just automatically backs everything up? could be wrong tho. but why would you not want to make a backup?

    I figured it would mess with it if i tried to restore it, but it doesn't sound like it would.
