    Default iphone 3g is not recognizing in xp...Help PlzZ
    hi guys,

    i've vista in laptop and xp in desktop, in vista iphone is syncing fine, but in desktop itunes saying...

    "required software is not installed, uninstall itunes with installer and install again"

    which installer i dont know, i unintalled 5 times, but nothing, respring phone, hard reset phone but still same.....

    please help me out what should i do?

    iphone 3g 16gb Black

    U probably have to update ur version of iTunes to 8.2 or higher.
    Open up ur iTunes and go to help on the menu bar and go down on the drop menu to about and check the version number

    And in u don't want anything deleted from ur device u need to make a copy of ur library for music, ringtones, pictures, etc., so that when u sync it, iTunes won't wipe ur device

    I had the same problem and struggled to fix it.
    It was probably some junk that iTunes left behind when uninstalled that controls the settings.
    To get rid of that I used Revo-Uninstaller - download here:
    Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download

    Thanx for the help........but u know,,,,

    i've revo uninstaller since one year and i uninstall everything eith that.........but no LUCK!

    Uninstall Apple Mobile Device Support. Then reinstall iTunes.

    Thank you, i did what u said....

    now, iTunes showing iphone but not syncing properly, and goes to freeze...

    plz suggest again what should do next......

    i tried 2,3 times now itunes saying,

    "Itunes was unable to load dataclass information from sync services. Reconnect or try again later"

    ?????????????i didnt understand...
