Thread: SSH question please

  1. #1
    Default SSH question please
I will start off by saying I have never used SSH before so admit that I don't know what I am doing. Prior to upgrading from 2.1 to 3.0 I did a lot of research, and somewhere along the way I read a post saying that you could copy your entire library folder from the phone to your desktop and then copy it back after the upgrade. Sooooooooo, I got brave, did the ssh thing, copied the folder to my desktop, and now the only folder it copied back to my phone was the calender, and it did not copy the latest changes I made to it???? Did not copy anything from the contacts folder and I don't even see the sms, weather addressbook etc on the phone. Can someone tell me how to get more folders on the phone to display? any thoughts on how to retrieve the info I copied?

this is the path, you have to be in the root directory.
/user/Library/AddressBook or SMS what ever your keeping.

    what program are you using?
use the same root path you would use to get to your themes.
