Default How can you tell its still unlocked and jailbroken?
I need some help please. I have a 3g16gb that is or was jailbroken and unlocked, running 3.0 and used with tmobile. Well, last night for the first time I was trying to get a free app using itunes. It started to sync and started updating software and then I got this message: The SIM card in this iphone does not appear to be a supported at&t sim card. Well, now my tmobile and little e in the corner are gone. Am I still unlocked, jailbroken, and using 3.0? Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks for all replies.

If it says that your TMo simcard is no longer supported then that means that it isn't unlocked anymore.

You might still be jailbroken if you still have a Cydia icon but most likely you don't since you probably updated to 3.0.1. What you need to do is re-jailbreak it with redsn0w 0.8 (Apple Forums & iPhone Forums, Mods, Hacks, News, Themes, Downloads, and more! | - Downloads - redsn0w Windows 0.8) and follow this guide to jailbreak (

The jailbreaking process would be slightly different due to the different firmware file on your phone. Instead of using the 3.0.1 firmware with redsn0w you would need to use the 3.0 firmware with it, as stated here:

Once done jailbreaking you need to download and install Ultrasn0w from Cydia (
If I helped you, then hit the "Thanks!" button please.
