    Default Restore for warranty??
I swear I've done a site search...but it keeps saying "words too common"....whatever. BUT....I have a jailbroke iphone...now lets say I need warranty work done...how do I restore it back to normal with all the stock settings (even my phone number/carrier/etc..) without them knowing I jailbroke it?? I have it backed up on my itunes....but it was backed up while it was jailed....any input??

BE VERY SURE YOU DO NOT RESTORE FROM BACK UP!!! AS STEVIELOLO SAID, "SET UP AS NEW"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then you're good to go.

So I can set up as NEW....then just when I get it back and it's fixed, restore from backup and it will go back to normal? That seems really easy.

you need to be sure to sync it before then you can just click restore and you will have a phone with nothing on it, no apps, no sms, etc. Then after you get the work done you can just plug in your phone and restore from backup
