Default How do you downgrade from 3.0 final to 1.1.4 iPhone 2g
I need to downgrade to "repair" my imei to get mms working on my 2g. I tried getting itunes 7.5 and going straight from 3.0 to 1.1.4 but i read that apple changed the dfu drivers in 3.0 so older versions of itunes wont detect the phone.

i would really appriciate it if someone posted a guide on how to downgrade form 3.0 to 1.1.4 for iphone 2g's...

    thanks

Yes. Although I'm not sure if the 3g can even go below 2.0 because that's what it started on.

It will work for the 3G until 2.0, but that's the farthest you can go down on there.

I tried this twice, without success. Trouble starts at point 7 after DFU mode: Both iPhone and iTunes just keeps on "restoring" forever. I want to downgrade from 3.0 to 1.1.4 because since I upgraded fro 1.1.4 to 2.0 my phone periodically hangs (black screen) in what appears to be DFU mode)
    Any suggestions, please?
