Default Contacts list and SMS load funny..
I'm using a Jailbroken 3.0 3G iPhone and recently i noticed that when i load the Contacts app it always starts on a particular person, then takes a moment before it jumps to the list of contacts.

Same kinda thing with the texting. When i load up messaging it shows an old set of messages before jumping to the fresh list.

Any suggestions on how I can reset these apps?

Have you tried restarting it? I read somewhere that what you see when you first open an app it is a screenshot from the cache. If you restart, it might clear it.

yep. I have rebooted several times. Is there a way to clear the cache?

The apps seem to run slow as well. Clearly something isnt refreshin or conflicting.. lol

Ehhh I don't think so. You could Google it and find out. I'm not sure tho. I'm on my iPhone right now and am too lazy to look for you. Well, you could do a restore but that is a bit drastic.

Nice job. I need my laptop back. I'm forgetting that you can get into the phone partitions. My screen had to be replaced because my window A/C unit leaked water on it... I didn't let the filter dry before I put it back in.
