    Default Downgrading 3.0 > 2.2.1 = Fail, help please
    I've tried all your steps, DFU, quickpwn, etc. nothing will work i keep getting 1604.. =( please tell me what other possible thing can i do?

    I love 3.0 but it crashes 24/7 + can't install cracked apps for some reason, i just want 2.2.1 back

    After error open quickpwn and hold Power and Home for 20 seconds, easy as that.

    Cracked apps = Fail.

    With the phone plugged into the USB, open iTunes.
    Press and hold both home and sleep buttons for 10 seconds exactly.
    Release the sleep button ONLY after 10 seconds (right when the apple logo shows up).
    Restore in iTunes (use the official Apple IPSW, not a custom one).
    You should be good to go.

    i told you guys before the DFU mode doesnt make a difference still get error 1604.. =/

    Your problem is that you are using the newer iTunes 8.2 prerelease. Make sure you get a copy of iTunes 8.1.

    I have the same problem keep getting the 1600 codes. and even tried to uninstall 8.2 itunes and install back 8.1 itunes and try to downgrade that way and still 1600 error code. im so sick of this stupid phone.

    Yah same problem here.. I've tried everything under the sun to try and get back to 2.2.1 ugh.
