    Default Jailbreak void Warranty???
I have heard that it does void the warranty, even if you restore your phone. I have also heard that a restore will make it so they wont know you ever jailbroke? Is there a clear answer out there, or does anybody know from experience whether or not jailbreaking voids your warranty?

Correct me if I am wrong, but if you refurbish your phone with ziphone it reverts to the 3.9 bootloader. If your phone was OTB 1.1.2 or > then it will no longer have 4.6 and thus apple will void your warranty if you take it in?

Clear answer: Yes, jailbreaking voids your warranty.

Gray market answer: Take it to an Apple store where the Rep is too stupid to check or realize, you can probably get it swapped out.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.

yes it does void the warranty. The best thing that you can do is to re-viriginize your phone and then take it in. That's what I had to do to my phone because the genius told me that he's not touching my phone because of the jailbreak. I hope this helps.
