Default how can i get out of recovery without a sim?
got an iphone 3g version 2.2 from canada (i'm in phils)jailbroken and unlocked using the yellosnow. now, i had restored it from some reason and then jailbroke using winpwn. now i'm stuck on the recovery screen. since it is locked on some network from canada, unfortunately i dont have the sim from that country. now, when i connect to itunes, in order to browse the springboard, it says that the sim is not valid. please help.... how can i get out of the recovery menu?

Don't use WinPwn, use Quickpwn. Just put it into DFU mode and re-restore to 2.2 then jailbreak with Quickpwn.

well, if u use quickpwn after restoring to 2.2.1 u loose the yellowsn0w, but to resolve your problem , if it doesnt work after quickpwn, try restoring in DFU and doing it again, it should work

i tried restoring it to 2.2 then use the quickpwn (latest). i dont have a sim that goes with the fone (vodafone). afterthat, the fone is in its recovery menu (dial for emergency). so i have to plug it to the itunes to activate it. what it says, the simcard is not supported. the problem is, how can i install the yellowsnow without going thru the springboard so it should accept my local sim (globe telecoms), since it is locked on vodafone.
