The status bar is located in: System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app it's called FSO_BG.png

    here's mine:

The dock is a combination of the default iPhone dock with the "eGlass" dock laid on top. The dock icons are from the "Glass Orb" theme (i like them better than the "eGlass" ones). The app icons are from another theme and I can't remember what it was called. They were all mainly b/w like my clock icon. I edited most of them just to give a splash of color.

Has anyone else noticed that spotlight won't find your apps if they are in folders or hidden? It only finds app that are visible on the SpringBoard.

I know, it gets me pissed

Yea, I noticed that too. I wish Apple would incorporate some kind of "Categories" app into 3.0 as I hate scrolling through pages of apps and i'm not used to being able to search for them. I generally only search spotlight for contacts.

OK looked at the spotlight frameworks and it has a bundle for addressbook, ipod, cal, mail, and notes. I might be able to create a bundle to search inside categories.

That would be amazing!! The only reason I tried installing QuickGold before was because it searches inside folders. I'm tired of having 9 pages of apps that are randomly sorted. I like have several folders for games, utilites, school, etc. but I also like being able to search for an app instead of having to go hunt for it.

Does it look like it's possible to make Spotlight search hidden (Poof'd) apps as well as apps in Categories? I don't use Categories but I do hide most of my icons so that would be great. I hate having to leave every icon on my SpringBoard just so Spotlight can see it.

Does anyone know how to make the iKeyEx keyboards work with the 3.0 beta? I really miss my 5-row keyboard.

I believed I tried it out and it did not work but I'm not 100 percent sure.

^^ It doesn't work, but it does add a section in the settings app. I was wondering if anyone has found a fix for it.

My apologies I misread you're previous post. Um I believe it relies on mobile substrate, does it not?

It does. I've installed both, but it doesn't show up in the list of keyboards.

I'm having problems. I changed some pics in SpringBoard.app and now some of the regular ones are going invisible. Is there a way to mount the DMG (from within the 3.0 iPSW) to gain access to the files so I can put the ORIGINALS on there? The one that I got through a PM are ALL invisible. The volume indicator doesn't even show up.

Well then that's most likely you're problem. Mobile substrate has a lot of kinks that to need to be ironed on 3.0 from my understanding.

That is strange. Mine are not invisible on my phone.

I thought the only bad thing about MobileSubstrate was that it messed up the iTunes Store app?

That is true but other programs that rely heavily on Mobile Substrate can cause much more serious problems or just flat out don't work.

E.g. Winterboard, QuickGold, Quick SMS apps, SBSettings, etc.
