    Default Downgrade on Mac
    hi,

    not sure if it's already been covered but i'm stuck in recovery mode. i'm working with a 3g iphone on a Mac. I've downloaded firmware 2.2 but it doesn't do anything when i click on the folder. am i doing something wrong?

    are you downgrading from 3.0?

    Put the phone in DFU mode...and itunes show find it and then option+click restore and chose the file you d/l.

    itunes shows my iphone. i click on option + recovery, get to ispw folder, click on "dfu" file but when it opens it up, everything is greyed out meaning i can't do anything.
