    Default Another problem jailbreaking
Ok in quickpwn i get to the very end, after i Put it in DFU mode it starts the jailbreak, but as soon as it puts the hard drive image on my iPhone a error message pops up saying that my iPhone is not connected in the right mode, due to faulty USB or mis-following the directions. I have it in DFU mode and im certain im following the directions right. The thing is im not using the apple USB cord that came with my iPhone (lost it on vacation) so i bought another one. Do i need the originol apple cord to do the jailbreak?

You shouldn't need the original one, but is the replacement made for the iPhone?
    Try a different usb port

I don't think that matters. I'm not a windows guy, but try restarting you computer
