Thread: 2.2.1 Cookie Issue Fix

    Default 2.2.1 Cookie Issue Fix
    Hey Guys/Gals

I had issues with my cookies not saving on 2.2.1 and after searching on here I saw it's not uncommon but not quite common. Anyways I found a fix from googling & I thought I'd share it so anyone new who does a search would find this thread and be able to fix without hopefully posting another redundant thread (we never get enough around here huh?)

    SSH into your iPhone

    /var/mobile/Library/Cookies/Cookies.plist <--- Delete that

And you're good to go. I can now browse the site iPhone style without having to log-in everytime

Thanks to Jim Danner over @ Hackint0sh.

    Thanks button????

You can also SSH and change permissions to that same file to 777.

I was going to try that but damn near every thread I searched on here was for 1.1.X so I just dismissed it as being a pre-2.X fix.

    Good to know!

Just had to fix this the other day when I downgraded back to 2.2.1 from trying 3.0.

One thing I have learned is that often some of the same fixes work on newer firmware although not always.
