is the baseband relevant?! I am with at&t and just looking for the 3g jailbreak not the unlock. last time I did it with pwnage tool and iPhone1,2_2.2.1_5H11_Restore but the phone just never got signal.. read through here and found that there is some complication with the baseband which made me restore the phone to normal grounds again and now I thought I had to wait for the next release to be able to get the phone jailbroken... but if you tell me that quickpwn will work regardless of baseband which is at 02.30.03

Quickpwn 2.2.5 will work for any current firmware, and basebands besides the OS 3.0. So your fine to use that version for the baseband and firmware you have.
