Just follow that guide you posted. I'm assuming you mean your factory unlocked, in which case all you need to do is jailbreak as that guide tells you to.

Hey there, i think mine is a factory unlocked. bought it straight from the authorized dealer here with a plan. I've read somewhere that it may screw up the 3G or in other words locked it after jailbreaking.

    enlighten me pls! thank you!

If it does alter the 3G service in any way, you can always restore back to stock and it'll be fine...

I say you go for it.

When you open up iTunes and you're on the iPhone screen, just click restore...
You'll see it. There's guides everywhere for it, too.

Jailbraking does not affect 3G and on an unlocked phone there is no problem.

^That's not how you delete third-party applications... You have to go into Installer/Cydia and find the package, then select the "remove" option.

As for SMS forwarders: BiteSMS or MySMS both do this, I think...

BiteSMS, iRealSMS and MySMS all do this I believe, personally I use Bite

but then personally I wouldn''t let installer anywhere near my iPhone!
