Default Best way to jailbreak ?
I have a 3g and jailbroke it on vista using qwkpwn for 2.2.1 for my firmware, I want to know what qwkpwn 2.2.5 is and what the difference is?

I also would like advise on jailbreaking using your own file or something, ive read people do this and are able to get more free ram space, are there other benefits to this?

If so how would i go about doing this, what exactly do i need to make and can i do it on vista and how do i do it basically ? lol

If you are talking about making custom firmware, then the only way that I know how to do it is on a Mac using Pwnage.

2.2.5 Quickpwn is just regular Quickpwn updated for the latest iPhone firmware, which is 2.2.1.

If you want to use a custom fw, then you are going to need someone to build one for you, you need to find one online, or you need to buy a Mac. Those are about your only options.
If I helped you, then hit the "Thanks!" button please.

Yeah, I'd say Quickpwn is your best bet since it produces a much better-running jailbreak because the custom firmwares made in Pwnage slow the device down apparently.

Every time you upgrade your phone to a newest version with stock(original apple)fw,you loose about 500 mb. space till you restore it again...
