Red face Saving jailbroken apps/etc. while upgrading to 2.2.1??
Okay, so I have a sim-free iphone, and I'm not necessarily worried about upgrading the baseband. However, every time I've had to upgrade the software, I have to re-jailbreak, and in the process lose all the apps and information that I had previously had when I jailbroke. Is there ANY way to save the information from these apps??

To reiterate, I basically want to be able to upgrade without getting rid of my jailbroken apps, if possible. If not, how and where can I save them (again, if possible). BTW, I am a windows user, and as far as I know, quickpwn is more or less the only way to go. Thanks!

    use aptbackup and appbackup.

then when you BACKUP your phone in itune the data should also be backed up for your apps.
so when you update your phone you then need to do the following
    1)once update complete ACTIVATE
    2)jailbreak
3)install, ssh and aptback and appbackup from cydia
    4)restore from backup in itunes
5)run app restore on aptbackup and appbackup.
Being an i can be a lot of pressure. you have to live right up to the small point.
