Default If I update my jealibroken 2.2 to 2.2.1, then jailbreak it, will I lose apps?
I have a jailbroken (not unlocked, im with att) 2.2 iPhone and I want to update it to 2.2.1 . How would I go about doing this without losing all my jailbroken apps in the process? Do I have to do anything special, or will the apps just reappear after I re-jailbreak 2.2.1? Thanks

You do have to start fresh. I didn't and had to restore my phone 3 times before it would work. DON'T restore it from a backup if it asks. You can backup the iTunes/Mobile Applications folder and then after you re-jailbreak you can reinstall all of your apps. If you have stuff from Cydia you have to redownload it.

Try AptBackup to backup your cydia apps.
