arent you really supposed to get that msg?

im getting the same message on my terminal.

although when i try to type a command, the connection closes?

any thoughts? i have every essential app installed
    openSSH, BSD, terminal, termvt100

what should i do? is there any other program besides terminal that i can use? i could have used the mobile terminal. but then you will have to input the command minicom -s later on which the mobile terminal cant execute.

    any help?

Download the new iTunes. Then do it.

ericdee> In the etc folder of your iPhone there is a master.pswd file. Make a backup. On the line which starts with root:, at the end of it after the bin/, change it to csh so that it reads System Administrator:/var/root:/bin/csh

I had tried uninstalling / reinstalling BSD subsystems, Open SSH as well as all the other suggestions in this forum, but to no avail. This did it for me. If you tried all other methods and couldn't get it to work, give this a shot. Good luck.
