Default Fixing "Stuck at Pineapple" Comments and Observations
So here is a method I ran across somewhere that has managed to un-pineapple my phone with 100% success.

1.) When at the pineapple screen ssh into your phone (assuming WiFi is up, if its not follow the guides to tunnel via USB)

    2.) cd /private/var/mobile

    3.) mv Applications Applications2

At this point you should be springboarded in about 5-10 seconds.

    4.) mv Applications2 Applications

reboot the phone. Installing a new application seems to refresh them all.

So what appears to be happening to many folks is that when the number of applications you install gets high there is some sort of indexing or caching that times out thus bricking your phone. Renaming the applications folder indicates that you have no apps and thus no indexing is required.

How many people are specifically running into problems when they install MANY apps? That appears to be 100% of my problem, and I hope apple is aware of it and its not specific to JB phones.

    Thanks and good luck!

Here is a much more elegant and detailed description/fix for the problem
