Default iTunes 8.0 - No custom firmware restore?????
I upgraded to itunes 8.0 today. ive been wanting to do a complete restore for awhile now and i dont know why i decided to do it now but i did. Anyway when i try to restore the custom ispw on 8.0 i get error but with official firmware its fine. does this mean its not working in 8.0 and ill have to go back to itunes 7.7?

FIRST lesson, never upgrade until the devs say so.

You should always wait a couple weeks in my opinion. Just until someone figures out the mess for us.

if you are a windows user, you have to pwn iTunes 8 w/ winpwn 2.0.0.4 first, then try your custom ispw.

i've tried it and it works.
havent tried on a mac though.

Or at least until enough knowledgeable folks do so and the niggles are sorted out a bit.
