Default What if I don't want the phone to work?
    I read the stickies.

I bought a new iphone today so it is 1.1.3 otb brand spanking azz new. I only bought it so I could have vibration and audible *ding* when I got an email.... and for the external volume switch...... speaker didn't hurt the decision either. So the touch has been replaced.

Anyway, I never at any point in time intend to use this as a PHONE. It'll be a glorified iPod Touch.

So, is there a way I can just do a click and go jailbreak or what? I'm looking to end up on 1.1.1 with no regard to phone capabilities.

Any recommendations for the smoothest route under my needs?

    I have only one question.......

I read the 1.1.3 downgrading tutorial and I have only one question..... Is that for upgraded phones that were not originally 1.1.3 or is that for 1.1.3 OTB phones also?

I ask because I know I have the most current baseband and such and I want to go to 1.1.1 and stay there, not come back up.

    Help meh.

You can use it on an out of the box 1.1.3 also. But why would you spend the extra $100 to buy an iPhone? Why not just buy an iPod touch?

Thanks for the private PM support *you know who*

Since I am going to be staying at 1.1.1 until 1.1.3 is more stable Just a simple restore to 1.1.1 and jailbreak with no no regard to baseband and no headaches is the route to take.
