    Default 1.1.2 vs 1.1.3 nOOb ???
I cuurently have a 1.1.2 un-jailbroken and wanting to jailbreak it.

I have been reading through all the posts but unsure if it is safe to go straight to 1.1.3.

Is 1.1.3 stable and as bug free as 1.1.2 and wait for awhile or does it really matter

I am not an expert but just from first hand experience I would not upgrade to 1.1.3. I am now stuck with an unstable iPhone that I cannot do a thing with!

I recommend you stay in 1.1.2 and wait till everything in 1.1.3 is bug free and ready to go..
If you are desperate and can't waitcheck what bootloader you have...if you want to unlock it
if you have 4.6 OTB...then stay in 1.1.2 and wait for software unlock
if you have 3.9....just follow some tutorials here to unlock 1.1.3

    Hope it helps

I am going to stick with 1.1.2 for now but I have seen numerous guides which one is the best so far.

I am a ATT subscriber, with an original iPhone that has version 1.1.2 on it from an upgraded 1.0.2 phone.
