Default Need help Updating a Jailbroken/Unlocked iPhone 1.1.1 to 1.1.3??
Hi, I got my phone unlocked and jailbroken by someone else, was too busy to do it on my own, now I have the time and want to update to the latest features of gmail primarily, the SMS client still sucks..

So can someone guide me to the place to update my iPhone (keeping it unlocked and jailbroken for 1.1.3).

    Thanks a ton.

This is what you do ....

    1. Goto Installer and make sure you have BSD subsystem installed.
    2. Then goto Tweeks 1.1.1 and install oktoprep to upgrade your phone to 1.1.2
    3. Once it says that you are ready to upgrade to 1.1.2 press on the OK button.
    4. Download firmware 1.1.2 from the downloads section and place it on your desktop.
    5. Connect the iPhone to your iTunes and if you are on windows hold SHIFT and press the UPGRADE.

    6. iTunes will ask you to select the firmware file, Just goto your desktop and double click on the one you just downloaded.

    7. After some time you iTunes will tell you that everything is good and that the phone is now running 1.1.2. It may not. But you will see an icon that will show you to plug into iTunes.

    8. Download the 1.1.2 Jailbreak pack. Just google it.

    9. Unrar the files to a folder

    10. Plug the iPhone into the computer and turn OFF iTunes. Goto Task Manager and make sure iTunes helper is not running. If it is just click on it and then click "END PROCESS".

    11. Open that folder and double click on "windows.bat". a command prompt will open up then another window will open up that will have 2 buttons "Boot Phone" and "Jailbreak" just make sure you checkmark the "install SSH" and the click on JAILBREAK button.

    12. After few minites the program will tell you that after a few restarts the iphone will be jailbroken. Click ok and wait.

    13. Once jailbroken goto installer and update the installer version and community services.

    14. Restart installer.

    15. Turn on installer and install BSD subsystem. Once that is done.

    16. Goto installer and install the official 1.1.3 upgrade pack ... turn on autolock to never. Make sure your sim card is in the phone and just wait and follow the intructions .. while it is upgrading DO NOT MESS WITH THE PHONE!!! after upgrade completes you might get a black screen. It can last upto 5 minites .. after that if its still thre just restart your phone and you are good to go. Cheers!!
