Default Few Questions about jailbreaking 2.0.1
I have an iphone in which I upgraded to 2.0.1 after I decided to not jailbreak it and now I have decided I want to, so here goes.

    • If I upgrade to a custom 2.0.1 firmware from an original 2.0.1 will I lose all my data? contacts, messages, etc....
    • If I upgrade will my apps from the istore still work?
    • If anything goes wrong and I have to send my phone back to the shop for repair can I revert my firmware back to normal via a restore.
    • I am on o2 do I need to do the YouTube Activation Fix?

Thats about all I can think of for now

    Thanks

    1) Not if you do a complete backup of your phone and then restore from backup.
    2) Yes, the apps will work.
    3) Yes you should be able to revert the phone to its normal condition via restore.
    4) I'm not familiar with that company in particular, but If you have an iphone specific sim, then you should not use the youtube fix.

Thanks for the help, my main question is now the backup, I don't suppose there is a guide on backing up?
