Thread: JailBroken process - OK (sort of)

Default JailBroken process - OK (sort of)
OK - New iPhone 3G with 2.01 firmware:

Phone was not "activated". Jail Break Process is supposed to take care of that (I understand - it does not UNLOCK).

So I ran through the Jail Break process unsing WinPwn - and mod'd the correct firmware and loaded it - everything went just fine.

I do not have a SIM card installed - repeat, I do not have a SIM card installed (yet)

So, I was assuming that I could use the iPhone as a iPOD until my Rebel Sim card gets here.

Strangely, the iPhone Screen is exactly the same now as it was prior to the Jail Break process???

I thought I would get the screen with all the icons - nope..

    thoughts?

red - thanks for the reply

upon normal boot up, I get the itunes icon on top - a "no sim card installed" warning in the middle, and "slide for emergency" on the bottom.

This is how it was - before the Jail Break...

Figured it out myself. The guide says to UNCHECK activation in WinPwn - so since that didn't work, I checked ACTIVATION and re-accomplished - and viola!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Everything is good!!!
