Default Trying to restore jailbroken 1.1.1 phone
I have a jailbroken iPhone with 1.1.1 software. I have an AT&T contract and I used the jailbrake.com apptapp method of unlocking. I want to restore my phone so that I can get updates from Apple as them come out, but I do not want my phone to brick. I've been told that since I'm using an AT&T contract I can just use the restore option in iTunes, can anyone confirm or deny this for me? Thanks.

God only knows why you would want to do such a thing. You lose 100 times more than you gain. But anyways, yes just restore. You cant brick your phone by just a jailbreak.

Hell, if you are talking about 1.1.3 you can just update straight to it, no restore needed so long as its only jailbroken and not unlocked.
