Yeah but with different programs...iBrickr is windows...

sidetalker can you tell me what you did to get the baseband downgrader to work...evry time i run it it says main script failed or something....what do i do.
it sounds like you have bootloader 4.6...it wont work with that

if I'm not mistaken I saw a iPhone with what looked like 1.1.3 firmware and installer.app on there somebody check this out on youtube just search it i think its 45 seconds long
yep 1.1.3 has been jailbroken but its not public.

actually for force booting the iphone you can just fire up the dev team 1.1.2 jailbreak and click on the boot phone instead of jailbreak...substitute that for ibrickr

how do i find what baseband i have?

Ok...I've read through the whole thread...couple questions

Last night I tried upgrading to 1.11 because there are many apps that don't work with 1.02(which i was on). After a bunch of failed attempts and me needing my phone back in working order for today...I just bit the bullet and upgraded to 1.13. So the phone now works and all. But it MAJORLY boring...

So my question is...your first post about downgrading...Can i follow those steps and I will have a fully working dowgraded phone? *My phone is one of the first ones to come out so i assume it has the old bootloader. When i upgraded to 1.13 it didnt upgrade the bootloader right?

I appreciate all the time you've put into this too..last night my phone was doing the apple logo...then it abruptly shut off and kept repeating this process ...that's what prompted me to upgrade to 1.13 bc i though i broke the phone.

    thanks

    hiya,

am on a sim-unlocked ifone on 1.1.1 - foolishly did the upgrade .3 and now have a brick on my hands.

1.1.2 didn't exist when i bot my ifone last year. otb was 1.0.2.

am i right to presume i'm on bootloader 3.9 cos for sure or am i wrong?

made sure i had all the requirements and files as described in the (great) tute (appreciate the efforts!).

tried it but i can't even get pass the first step...

step 1. downloaded and placed DFU folder in my Cdrive. when i run command c:/dfu/dfu iBSS.m68ap.RELEASE.dfu, nothing happens - they're asking me to select a program to run the dfu file.

step 2. so i tried to manually put the iphone in restore mode, dat works of cos - then i try to shift click to restore down to 1.1.1 but dat doesn't work. As soon as the files are extracted it pops up with an unknown error (1). i've tried restoring 1.0.2 and 1.1.2 as well but same thing...

so basically i can't even pass the first step of downgrading to 1.1.1

    can anyone help me?

i'm so lost without my prrrrrrrecious

    :o(

Thank you so much for this guide. It really saved my iPhone from being boring. Running 1.1.2 jailbroken. WOOOOO

    I have a nop question.

    - Will this work for a unlocked 1.0.2 (using fast-unlock.pxl) accidentally upgraded to 1.1.3? I want to downgrade it to any old firmware and unlock it again to use with T-Mobile.

    Thanks

    (
put your iphone in DFU mode manually and then downgrade. Google it.

whats SDK? that thing that the dec team is wating to be release by apple so they can release the 1.1.3 jailbreak method
software developers kit. it will allow developers to make even more amazing and functional apps.

I appreciate the answer...I'm off to go downgrade!

Bit of a problem...I'm at step 17 and when i go to install 1.11 again..it goes through and installs it. After it's restart it brings up the "Activate Iphone" Screen again And Itunes says the "sim is locked please insert sim" error message.

So....I really need some guidance here..Everything was good until 17..so..What should i do?

    thanks

As i read around on iphone.unlock.no Since I am stuck at the activation screen...can i run apptappinstaller? Then follow the jailbreak and bypass activation ?

There are a lot of ways i can go...I just don't know what to do..ahh
