Default HELP - Accidentally updated from 1.0.2 to 1.1.2
    Hey guys,

newbie needs help here. Basically I just had the phone for couple of days and didn't notice this kind of things would lock the phone back. Anyway, read some guides etc, and found this:

    ************************************************** ******
All those on v1.0.2 who've used anySIM v1.0.2 and have updated to v1.1.2 accidentally, are required to:

    1. Downgrade back to v1.0.2
    2. Then downgrade their modem firmware back to v3.14 and re-virginize the phone first.
    3. You can then update to v1.1.1 and follow this GUIDE to update to v1.1.2 Jailbreak + Activation + Unlock http://www.modmyi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17185

    ************************************************** ******
On the progress of step 1, downgrading back to v1.0.2, phone is already in recovery mode, and I chose 1.0.2 recovery file to restore. Once it's finished, it says "The iphone 'iphone' could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1013)."

The question is whether this is meant to happen. If it should be like that, then move onto step 2, downgrade the modem firmware back to v3.14. How to tell what the current modem firmware is?

Urgent helps are needed and appreciated. Thanks.

    Regards,

You can check the modem version under seetings, general, about. Check the guides section to see if the virginizing can reset you modem back to a previous version. When you upgrade to 1.1.2 it upgrades the modem and relocks the sim...
