    Default Loosing data when updating
    Hi,
I have an iphone 1.1.1 and wanted to update to 1.1.2, but i don't know if i will be loosing my sms, contacts, calendars, apps... How can i save them? Or i don't need to? (im using windows)

ON the other side, i have an iphone with a serial number wich says it has been produced on week 40, does it have the old bootloader so i can update?

    Thanks!

If your phone is 1.1.1, yes you have the old bootloader. All of your contacts, SMS, etc.. are backed up with iTunes each time you sync, they won't be lost. Although you're programs won't be lost, the .plists that place them on the springboard will be, so they'll basically be invisible.
Get "iPod & iTunes for Dummies", it'll change your life.
