    Unhappy Going in circles to fix firmware, virginize...display busted

    Dropped the iphone day 1, trying to get the ph back in original state (1.1.1 with baseband ver 04.01.13) so I can go to the app.. store for repair request. The firmware was downgraded to 1.0.2 for unlocking. I've spent more than 8 hrs since yesterday to bring back in original state following 3 sets of instructions (the one that helped me get through the baseband issue is: except for the 3rd step where it talks about installing firmware from 1.0.2 folder) .

    I need basic guidance in terms of the last few steps to reach the finish line:
    1) Step 3 as stated above, does not indicate which file to choose from the folder to install the 1.0.2 firmware. I've randomly tried selecting most of the files, resulting in error and itunes deleting it after throwing the error. {Edit: Found in another posting that it should be .ipsw}
    2) Do I need to bother installing the 1.0.2 firmware, can I just go forward with installing 1.1.1? I have downloaded the viriginizing pack from step 3 but I do not see independence, in the tar file.

    I'm having difficulty downloading 1.1.1 from this link, --> it does not start downloading. Any idea where I can download 1.1.1 from?
